Avant-Garde has a long and distinguished history in beauty education, and offers a wide variety of courses suitable for everyone! Our school’s reputation and recognition is based on the success of our many graduates over the past 35 years!

Avant-Garde College offers various beauty training programs that meet industry standards and changing trends in; Hairstyling, Esthetician - Skin Care & Nail Technician full and part-time programs. Each program consists of theory and practical application instruction. Students will be issued a diploma upon successful completion of all course requirements.

Admission requirements: 
For all programs, prospective students should have a High School Diploma. In place of a High School Diploma, mature students (19+ years old) may be considered.

Financial assistance:
Avant-Garde is designated for student loan funding. Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website for more information about the Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan program. Please note student loans will not cover cost of student kits.

Course Duration Full - Time

Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Thursday's 12:30pm - 8:00pm

Course Duration Part - Time

Option One - Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

Option Two - Monday to Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

 

All registration fees are non refundable.

 

Student loan repayment:
Loan repayment can be a stressful and confusing time for graduating students. Below is a link to a webinar (approx. 45 minutes – 1 hour in length) which will provide useful information on paying back your loans. There are pre-set dates and times for the webinars; students will be able to register for the session that best fits their schedule. Participants have the option of signing in on a computer, tablet or via their Android or iPhone device for convenience.
