General information
Avant-Garde College offers training program that meet industry standards and changing trends. Esthetician- Skin Care & Nail Technician programs each consist of theory and practical application instruction. Students will be issued a Diploma upon successful completion of all course requirements. Students have a discount in our very own wholesale store front location in the school!
Admission requirements:
Applicants should have a High School Diploma. or GED. We also accept mature student (19+).
Financial assistance:
Avant-Garde is designated for student loan funding. Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website for more information about the Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan program. Please note student loans will not cover student kits.
Program Options:
Course Duration Full - Time
1400 Hours; 38 Weeks
Monday - Tuesday -Wednesday - Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm & Thursday 12:30pm - 8:00pm
Course Duration Part - Time
1400 Hours; 63 Weeks
Option One - Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm
Option Two – Monday to Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Esthetician Skin Care & Nail Technician program offers full-time 37 weeks and part-time 63 weeks. Students must achieve a minimum grade of 70% to pass the theoretical and practical portions of this program. A diploma will be issued upon successful completion of all course requirements.
Course duration:
1400 hours
Mature students:
In place of a High School Diploma, mature students (19+ years old) may be considered.
Fees:
Registration Fee $200.00 (payable at time of registration)
*Registration fee is not a portion of the tuition amount and is non-refundable*
Program start dates:
January, March, May, July, September and November.
Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
