At Avant-Garde College, we are dedicated to providing our students with the best education and hands-on experience in the world of hairstyling. Our program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this exciting industry.

1. Personalized Salon Experience: 10,000 sqft..... As a student in our program, you will have your dedicated hair station. This means you'll have the opportunity to practice and perfect your hairstyling techniques in a real salon setting. Get ready to unleash your creativity and bring your unique vision to life!
2. Spacious Classrooms: We believe that a comfortable and inspiring learning environment is essential for success. Our spacious classrooms provide ample space for you to learn and grow, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your passion for hairstyling.
3. Consistent Instruction: Our experienced instructors are committed to providing consistent, high-quality instruction. They will guide you through every step of your hairstyling journey, ensuring that you develop the necessary skills and techniques to thrive in the industry.
4. Makeup Add-On: As an exciting addition to our program, we added makeup, facial waxing & manicures. This allows you to expand your skillset and become a well-rounded beauty professional. Learn the latest makeup trends, techniques, and tips to enhance your clients' overall look and boost your marketability.

Admission requirements:

-High school transcript or General Education Development (GED).
-Students under 18 years of age require guardian consent.
-Photo identification and social insurance number.
-Over 19 years of age without grade 12 or GED, mature status may be considered.

 

Financial assistance: Avant-Garde is designated for student loan funding. Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website for more information about the Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan program. 

Hairstyling dates: February, April, June, August, September, October & December 

Course Duration Full-Time - 1500 Hours: 40 Weeks
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm & Thursday 12:30pm - 8:00pm
Course Duration Part-Time - 1500 Hours: 67 Weeks
Option One - Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm
Option Two - Monday to Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:00pm  
Fees: Registration Fee (payable at the time of registration): $200.00 *Registration fee is not a portion of the tuition amount and is non-refundable*
